Christina Lynn Welker
October 12, 1978 ~ December 19, 2021 (age 43)

Christina Lynn Welker, 43, gained her angel wings on Sunday, December 19, 2021 and is now at peace.

Christina was a beautiful, amazing, and awesome mom, daughter, sister, granddaughter, aunt and niece. She had the sweetest spirit and soul, the most adventurous personality, she would light up a room, and you would always remember her beautiful smile she left behind. Her number one hero who she loved unconditionally was her MawMaw Peggy, whom she made many memories with since childhood. Her last wish was to let her children know that she loved them and she wanted to see them. She grew up in the Southeast community, and graduated from Southeast High School. She enjoyed decorating and travelling. She was a wonderful caregiver to several, including her children and grandparents. Others happiness were her main concern. She was well known for loving all animals.

She is survived by her three children, Sam, Julie, and Andy; parents, Bill and Pam Welker; sister, Allison Michelle Welker; grandparents, Bill and Peggy Welker; grandmother, Joan Ray (and deceased grandfather, Glenn Ray); aunt, Lyndy Welker; aunt, Linda Austin; special aunt, Linda Kluttz; one uncle Darryl Welker; cousins, Dawn Kennedy, Angela Austin, Holly Welker, Seth Welker, and Jeremy Harville and Tabitha; special friend, Sai Reddy; special friends from South America, Hector "Cacho" Walter Alanzo, and his family; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and family members whom she loved.

A celebration of life service will be held on Sunday, January 9, 2021 at 3:00 pm at Mt. Hope United Church of Christ, with Rev. Kristin Gerner Vaughn and Pastor Michael Barrett officiating.

The family will receive friends at anytime at her grandparent's home, Bill and Peggy Welker.

She had a private service and was laid to rest at Joshua Tree Memorial Park in Joshua Tree, California.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice to show an act of kindness to someone else.
