Daughter of Mary A. Jarvis and William Samuel Doan(9), Israel(8), Abraham Doan(7), Joseph(6), Joseph(5), Israel(4), Daniel(3), Daniel(2), Deacon John Doane(1). Married to Simeon Sylester Phillips in McPherson Co., KS on Sept. 7 1989. They moved from McPherson Co. to Pratt Co., KS on Sept. 6, 1901, the day President William McKinley was assassinated. In 1912, they built a large home (22 rooms) near Iuka where Minnie raied her large family. It would be quite a musueum showing to see all the finished products, by her hands, while raising her family. 12 kids.
