Theta was the daughter of Dewey and Maggie Pope saunders.She was retired fro Laurens County Hospital and a member of the Lydia Penticostal Holiness church.

Theta Saunders Collins, age 74, formerly of Peachtree St., and widow of Ralph Collins, died Saturday, October 13, 2007 in the National Health Care of Clinton.

She was born in Caldwell County, NC, and was a daughter of the late Dewey and Maggie Pope Saunders.

Mrs. Collins was retired from Laurens County Hospital and was a member of Lydia Pentecostal Holiness Church.

She is survived by two sons, Dewey Wesley Collins and wife Elaine of Clinton, Shawn Lamell Collins of Gray Court; one brother, Gordon Saunders of Greensboro, NC; three grandchildren, Jason Collins, Christina Collins Hernandez, Cody Landers; great grandchildren, Jarrett Lafler and Jeremy Hernandez and two special friends, Doris Bangs and Audrey Estes.
