Marion I. Wagner, age 86, of 3518 Rasher St., Manitowoc, died Thursday, Dec. 20, 2007, at the Manitowoc Health Care Center.

She was born on Oct. 25, 1921, in Manitowoc, daughter of the late Clyde H. and Harriet (Babock) Shaw. Marion was a graduate of Lincoln High School, Manitowoc, class of 1939. On Dec. 27, 1941, she married George J. Wagner at St. Andrew Catholic Church, Manitowoc. He preceded her in death on July 28, 2006. Marion was a press operator at Mirro Aluminum Company until her retirement. She was also employed with Manitowoc Supper Club as a waitress. She was a member of the St. Mary Rosary and Altar Society.

Survivors include four daughters and three sons-in-law: Mary Ellen & Eugene Pantzlaff, Kellnersville, Sandra & bob Stockinger, Hortonville, Jeanne LaRoque, Albuquerque, New Mexico, Barbara & James Moldenhauer, Manitowoc; twelve grandchildren: Gabrielle (G.G.) McNabb, Heather Gospodarek, Jennifer Hildebrandt, Mark Stockinger, Jeff (Amy) Stockinger, Kari Stockinger, Todd LaRocque and his fiancé, Sylvia Lujan, Rhonda (Chuck) Hurda, Jamie (Kris) Hansen, Brent Moldenhauer, Travis (Anna) Moldenhauer, Lyndzee Moldenhauer and her fiancée, Daniel Schaus; fifteen great grandchildren: Meghan & Darrian McNabb, Lauren Hildebrandt, Elise Stockinger, Bailey & Drew Hurda, Jesse, Tyler, Fallon, Brandon & Miranda Hansen, Lakyn Moldenhauer, Zoe & Lucas Moldenhauer, Fischer Schaus; one great great granddaughter: Alexis Hansen; two sisters and brothers-in-law: Phyllis & Bill Tadych, Barbara & Lester Block; and one brother and sister-in-law: Malcolm & Margaret Shaw. Also surviving are nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by a great grandson: Owen Leonard Moldenhauer; a son-in-law: Neil LaRocque; three brothers and two sisters-in-law: Donald & Laura Shaw, Clyde (Baldy) & Olga Shaw, John Shaw; two sisters and one brother-in-law: Beatrice Kohlbeck, Ruth & Reinnie Wagner; and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Fred & Deloris Wagner and Marion & Clarence Bieker.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., on Thursday, Dec. 27, 2007, at St. Francis of Assisi on Marshall, Manitowoc. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. Tom Wojciechowski O.F.M., with entombment at Knollwood Mausoleum, town of Kossuth.

The family will greet relatives and friends at The Pfeffer Funeral Home & Cremation Care Center, Manitowoc, from 4 to 7 p.m., on Wednesday, Dec. 26, 2007. A prayer service will be held at 6:30 p.m., led by Deacon Alan Boeldt. Friends may also call on Thursday morning, Dec. 27, 2007, at St. Francis of Assisi on Marshall, Manitowoc, from 10 a.m., on Thursday, Dec. 27, 2007, until the time of service at 11 a.m.

Marion enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She liked to knit and speak French to anyone who would listen. If love could have saved you, You would have lived forever.

A special thank you to the staff at the Manitowoc Health Care Center for their wonderful care of our mother, especially Leah and Joe. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her so much.
