EVERETT L. DENNEY, age 84, of Greenville, Ohio died Tuesday, April 13, 2004 at Heartland of Greenville. Born on April 13, 1920 in Science Hill, Kentucky he was the son of the late Joseph Fenmore & Alvilla (Weaver) Denney. He was a WWII U.S.Army veteran and a retired dairy farmer having worked on various farms including his own. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Greenville. Preceded in death by his wife: Elizabeth E. (Kreitzer) Denney in 1991; a great granddaughter: Kaitlynn Flood in 2003; three brothers and two sisters.
Survived by his daughter & son-in-law: Sandra and Francis Flood of Howard, Ohio; grandsons & spouses: Tom and Tory Flood of Westerville, Ohio and Johnny and Lisa Flood of Mt. Vernon, Ohio; granddaughters and spouse: Shawn Flood of Mt. Vernon, Ohio and Martha and Jason Davis of Fredericktown, Ohio; great grandchildren: Joey, Tyler, Elijah, Kaylee and Abby; Sister: Mattie Epperson of Eubanks, Kentucky and Special Friend: Emma O'Brien of Greenville, Ohio.Nieces and Nephews.
Funeral Service will be held at 11: 00 A.M.(Ohio Time) on Friday, April 16, 2004 at the Barnes Funeral Home - 411 North Commerce Street - Lewisburg, Ohio with Rev. David O. Justis officiating. Interment will be held in Sugar Grove Cemetery - West Alexandria, Ohio with full military honors provided by the Preble County Honor Guard.
