One day after his birthday at age 85, Alden passed away at the Eaton Community Hospice in Charlotte.

Oldest child born to Robert and Alice (Smith) McManus.

1940 graduate of Eaton Rapids High School. He was a lifetime farmer in the Brookfield Township, a life member of the Brookfield Masonic Lodge and a member of the Eaton Farm Bureau.

Celebrated 62 years of marriage with wife Maudie.
