ABEL, CHARLES "CHARLIE," 65, of Spring Hill, died Tuesday (April 18, 1995) at home. He was born in Erie, Pa., and was a retired diesel mechanic for Tarmac Cement Co. He was an Air Force veteran, a member of St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church, a member of the Hernando Old Car Club, the Pennsylvania Club and the American Legion. Survivors include his wife, Mary Alice; two sons, James, Lilburn, Ga., and John, Watertown, Mass.; a daughter, Cynthia Tassos, Columbus, Ohio; a sister, Florence Brandt, Erie; and six grandchildren.
