John S. Quitter, 75, went home to be with the Lord on December 28, 2021. He was born November 24, 1946 in Akron, Ohio to the late John and Rose Quitter. John retired from Akron Public Schools as a machine shop teacher. He was a member of the Community Church of Portage Lakes and loved to share what the Lord had shown him over the years teaching Sunday School. John was a deep thinking yet simple man who loved his Lord and his family. He will be greatly missed.
John is survived by his sons, John (Shelley), Matthew (Diadem), Mark (Melissa), Michael (Becky); grandchildren, Emily (Dennis), Ryan, Amy, Sarah, Manoah, Cody, Nathan, Bailey, Joshua, Jacob, Abby and great-grandchildren, Kaidan and Ellis.
