Obituary for Shirley M. Sutterfield
Shirley Mae (Bell) Sutterfield, age 78 passed away from this life on December 29th, 2021 at her home in Clayton, Oklahoma with her family by her side. Shirley was born on May 30th, 1943 to Ella (Armstrong) and Tom Bell in San Jose, California. She married Larry Sutterfield in Antlers, Oklahoma in 1961. Shirley enjoyed planting flowers in her gardens, and sewing. She was family oriented and took pride in each one of her family members. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Shirley is survived by her husband, Larry Sutterfield of the home; son, Larry Sutterfield Jr. and wife, Kim of Tulsa, OK; daughter, Elaine Larison and husband Lonnie of Sapulpa, OK; five grandchildren, Casey, Amanda, Jeremy, Nathan, and Eric; eleven great grandchildren; brothers, Billy Bell and Thomas Allen; sisters, JoAnn Reed, Lodena Morton, and Mary Bell as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of extended family and friends.

Shirley is preceded in passing by her parents, sister, Evelyn Gower, and brother George Bell.

Visitation will be on Monday, January 3rd, 2022 from 4:00PM to 6:00PM at McCarn Funeral Chapel in Clayton, Oklahoma.

Graveside services will be on Tuesday, January 4th, 2022 at 2:00PM at Old City Cemetery in Clayton, Oklahoma with Bro. Rodney Tate officiating. Services have been entrusted to McCarn Funeral Service of Talihina, Oklahoma.
