Merrill D. Coffer, age 88 of Ozark, Missouri passed away suddenly in his home, Monday, December 27, 2021. He was born November 2, 1933 at High Lonesome, Missouri, the son of Fred R. and Bertha (Morrison) Coffer. Merrill was a longtime Christian County resident and enjoyed being retired. He completed his career as an Area Manager for Fasco Industries where he was a dedicated employee for over 35 years. During 1953-1955, Merrill proudly served his country as a member of the United States Marine Corps and received an honorable discharge. In his spare time, Merrill enjoyed fishing, riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle and driving his Roush Mustang. Merrill will be sadly missed but will live on forever in the hearts of his many friends and loving family. Merrill was preceded in death by his parents, an infant son Brian Dean Coffer, brother Junior Coffer and a nephew. Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Friday, December 31, 2021 in Barnes Family Funeral Home, Ozark, Missouri. Burial will follow in Chadwick Cemetery.
