Rites Scheduled For Mrs. Allen, 65
NEW BLOOMFIELD —(Special)
—Mrs. Clara Agnes Allen, 65, died at the home of a step-son at New Bloomfield Thursday afternoon after an illness of several years. She was born April 22, 1888 west of New
Bloomfield, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Glennon. On March 29, 1915, she was married at her home to John J. Allen, who survives.
Mr. and Mrs. Allen lived at New Bloomfield until about 17 years ago when they moved to McCreedie. They returned to New
Bloomfield to make their home, with her step-son, Hulen Allen, about six weeks ago.
Other survivors include another step-son, James N. Allen, Wichita, Kan.; a son, John R. Allen St. Louis; a sister, Mrs. S. R. Smart, New Bloomfield; a brother, Clarence Glennon, McCreedie, eight grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at the Dry Fork Baptist Church
at Guthrie at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, the Rev. C. E. Hannan officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
