Mrs. George Ann Thomas, 91, of Pleasant Hill died at 7:55 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 19, 1972 at Illini hospital, where she had been a patient the past week. She was born Oct. 5, 1880 near Bowling Green, MO., daughter of George H. and Elizabeth Waugh Humphrey. She married John L. Thomas at Pleasant Hill, April 8, 1906. He died in 1951. These children survive: Leon of New London, MO., Nealy of Pawnee, Mrs. Lee (Lillian) LaDow of Pittsfield and Elizabeth at home. There are seven grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. One sister, Mrs. Maude Moore of Louisiana, MO., also survives. The deceased was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist church. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday
Feb 22, 1972 at Ward Funeral Chapel in Pleasant Hill with Rev. Joe T. Maynard and Rev. Ronald Hallen officiating. Burial in Crescent Heights cemetery.
