FORMER COUNTY RESIDENT DIES
Word has been received here of the death of Mrs. Bertha Gibbs, of Bell, in that city on Feb. 27. Mrs. Gibbs was born in Ventura county in 1888 and is the daughter of Mrs. C. E. Burdick of Santa Paula. Death followed an emergency operation.
Funeral services and burial took place this week in Bell. Mrs. Gibbs was an active worker in the Bell Ebell club, of which she was president in 1928 and 1929; past president of the Parent-Teachers Association there, and a member of the Eastern Star. She has a wide circle of friends in this county.
