He was raised in Joliet, and was a graduate of Joliet Catholic High School, Class of 1963.
Ken was a veteran of the United States Army attaining the rank of Sergeant.
He was a proud member of I.B.E.W. Local #176.
For many years, he also served as a volunteer with the Minooka Fire Protection District.
He was a hard worker, loved being an electrician and was pleased to have a son follow in his profession.
Ken enjoyed retirement following 48 years of service to his trade.
He had a special place in his heart for the Wisconsin Dells, a vacation destination he enjoyed as a child and where he would come to have his own place on Lake Delton as an adult. It was there he would love to relax and talk over a cold beer, and the friends he made in Wisconsin were like family to him.
He also loved to visit Disney World and trips to the Magic Kingdom were a rite of passage for each grandchild when they reached a certain age.
In his free time, he loved working with Lego's and the things he built were large and very detailed.
