Although she had many trials and tribulations that she lived through, she never let that determine her life path. In 1990 her faith prevailed, and she claimed her life back from her anxiety and lived her last 32 years with sobriety. During that time, she was a sponsor to countless people to help them fight their addiction with alcohol. She taught us all to love thy neighbor and take care of your community.
She never knew a stranger or passed any judgment. She loved dancing, games, reality TV, reading and rummaging any garage sale no matter the size. She was forgiving, kind, understanding, supportive, wise, funny and she gave the best hugs. Anyone who knew her knows the power of a hug from Barb, Mom or Grandma. She loved her family with the deepest love, an unexplainable love, a love no one can replace.
She was our counselor, our confidante, our mom, our grandma, our friend. She will be missed beyond measure. The world needs more people like Barb.
Barb was preceded in death by her father James Pierce, her stepfather Jimmy Williams, her mother Margret Williams, her grandson Beau Buehre and her aunt Mary Blaka.
