Duane R Allen 70, of Cedar Fort died December 28, 2021 at his home after battling a long fight with Parkinson's disease. Born August 7, 1951 in Murray, Utah to Arthur R. and Luana Hilton Allen.

He married the love of his life Marlene Cook, April 14, 1972 in Cedar Fort.
Duane grew up out on his grandparents ranch in Cedar Valley, he worked hard from the time he could walk learning everything there was to learn about ranching. He learned to herd sheep and spent every summer up at Strawberry on the mountain watching over the herds.

Duane went on to drive truck, hauling live stock, and later retired from EG&G as an CHB/UPA operator.

He served on the town council for many years and helped the town earn an award with Governor Leavitt for master planning.

He is survived by his loving wife Marlene C. Allen, 3 sons; Darin, Drew, and Dustin, 9 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren all of Cedar Fort; brothers, Dennis (Joanne) of Virgin, Utah, Darrell (Lexi) of Tabiona, Utah, Donn Dee (Angie) of Eagle Mountain,Utah; his Mother Luana Slougski (Dee) of Draper, Utah.
He is proceeded in death by his father Arther, and brother Darcy.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 4th at 11am in the Cedar Fort LDS Chapel. Family and friends may call Monday evening from 6 to 8pm at the Cedar Fort Chapel, 185 East Center Street, and Tuesday morning one hour prior to the services. Interment will be in the Cedar Fort Cemetery.
