Robert M. LaMountain, 73, died Sunday, October 21, 2007 at his residence surrounded by his family. Born and educated in Albany, he was the son of the late John and Gertrude (Rowe) LaMountain. He worked for many years as a longshoreman at the Port of Albany. Beloved husband of the late Joan (Barber) LaMountain; father of Darlene LaMountain-Dodge of Ravena, Perry (Karen) LaMountain of Albany, and Kevin (Kathleen) Bovia of South Bethlehem; brother of Loretta (Robert) Jones, the late George, Henry, and Billy LaMountain and Joan Banker; grandfather of Tara (Charles) Bianchino, Kyla LaMountain, Stacy (Ariel) Feliciano, Lisa Bovia, and Kenneth Bovia; great-grandfather of Neiko and C.J. Bianchino, Francesca Hempstead, Jayden and Jordan Feliciano, Arianna Leno, and the late Cheanelle Hempstead; also survived by many nieces and nephews.
