Millie was born December 9, 1929 in Hubbard County, Minnesota, the 5th of 9 children born to Charles Franklin Morford (1890-1943) and Dorothy Louise (Harris) Morford (1905-1992).
She married Ray Overholt on May 26, 1956. Ray and Millie were converted to Christ not long after that and began a traveling music and preaching evangelistic ministry that lasted 48 years. Ray preached the Gospel and they sang songs they wrote as a trio with son Ron. Many people were converted to Christ during this time. Ray passed on September 14, 2008.
On September 26, 2009, Millie married Ted Masters, and they enjoyed 12 years together, singing gospel music and traveling together. Ted cared for Millie in their home during her last days. He survives.
Millie's life was certainly one of service to others. She loved to be with her family, and provided child care for her grandchildren, great grandchildren and her great, great grandchildren. She had many friends and loved to entertain them in her home.
Millie would tell you the greatest decision she ever made was giving her life to the Lord. Her song, "Nothing Touches me Quite Like Calvary" was her testimony. Her later years were spent attending her beloved Family Altar Chapel with Ted.
