Eva Mary Stark, the daughter of William and Muriel (Dart) Brooks, was born at Norton, Kansas, on May 20, 1910, and died at Lincoln, Nebraska, on October 27, 1997, at the age of 87 years, 5 months, and 7 days.
She grew up and attended District School in Franklin County, Nebraska.
On October 9, 1935, she was united in marriage to Harold Stark, at Aurora, Nebraska. They lived in Aurora, where she was an active volunteer in the community, a homemaker, and helped her husband in the painting business.
Eva was an active member of the Aurora United Methodist Church, belonged to the United Methodist Women, was a member of the Hamilton Manor and Plainsman Museum Auxiliaries. She was a longtime member of the SOS Club. She was an avid gardener, and her hobbies were doing counted cross stitch and raising flowers.
She was preceded in death by her parents, step-mother Emma Travis Brooks, 2 brothers Leonard and Orval Brooks, and an infant sister Vivian Brooks.
Those who remain to cherish her memory are her husband Harold "Hap" Stark; one daughter Pat Feeser and her husband Hollis Feeser, of Rochester, Minnesota; one brother Merle Brooks of Marion, North Carolina; 2 grandsons, Scott Feeser and Kent Feeser both of Rochester, Minnesota; one granddaughter Cheryl Bauer of Minnetonka, Minnesota; and 10 great grandchildren..
