Alice Faye Steele, 78, of Hebron, MD, passed peacefully at her home Thursday August 12, 2021 just the way she would have wanted, surrounded by family and lifelong friends.
Alice Faye enjoyed a life full of good people and good times. We are grateful for the endless stories and memories to lean on.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Ernie Steele, a wonderful son, Aaron Burbage (Sandy), cherished daughters Teresa Smith (Steve) and Eva Clifton (Greg), treasured sisters Marian Marsh (Jim) and Barbara Carey (Lester), a brother Denny Murray, adored grandchildren Michelle Dykes (Ben), April DeMary (Troy), Brittni Conn (Stevie), Kelsie Bloodsworth, Brooke Burbage, Kyler Clifton, Cody Clifton and Colby Clifton, fabulous great grandchildren Christian Conn, Ella Conn, Caden East and Kyler East, stepsons, Chris Steele and Michael Steele, and countless special nephews and nieces.
She was preceded in death by her father Austin Murray and mother Lucille Murray, a brother George Murray and sister Betty Tawes (Larry).
As family and friends were her greatest joy in life, special mentions for her lifelong friend Florence, her special sister-in-law Susie, and her 'second mother' Evelyn.
Services will be held at Holloway Funeral Home at 11am on Friday, August 20, 2021 with a visitation 2 hr.'s prior. Interment will take place at Eastern Shore Veterans Cemetery located at 6827 E. New Market Ellwood Rd, Hurlock MD 21643 at 2pm.
