Rita Arlene Nally, age 61, of Winfield, died Sunday, Nov. 25, 2007, at the William Newton Hospital. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2007, at Swisher-Taylor & Morris Chapel, Winfield. Interment will be in Highland Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 3-8 p.m. today. The family will greet friends from 6- 7:30 p.m. Born April 7, 1946, in Newkirk, she was the daughter of Arthur and Anna (Shiek) Voegele. She was raised and educated in Newkirk, graduating from Newkirk High School. On Jan. 12, 1968, she married Bob Nally in Winfield. He survives. She had lived in Winfield for 40 years and worked at Southwinds Residential Services, Direct Care, and previously at Rubbermaid. Between jobs, she was a mother and wife.
Survivors include her husband, Bob Nally, of the home; son, Jeff and wife, Susann Nally, of Arkansas City; daughter, Jennifer and husband, Brian Turner, of Winfield; brother, Dick Voegele, of Newkirk; sisters, Gladys Lane, of Red Rock, Okla., Claudine Penny, of Fredricksburg, Texas, Lucielle O'Neal, of Ardmore, Okla.; grandchildren, Sean, Ashley and Amber Nally, Lucas and Gavin Turner. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Tanya Nally; brother, Don Voegele; and sister, Margie Bruce.
A memorial has been established for the American Heart Association. Contributions may be made through the funeral home. Arrangements are under the directionof the Swisher-Taylor & Morris Funeral Home, Winfield.
