James Raiford Bizzell, 89, of Hernando, MS, formerly of Strayhorn, MS died Sunday, November 11, 2001 at Baptist Progressive Health Care in Southaven. Mr. Bizzell was a retired engineer for the city of Houston, Texas and an Army Air Corp veteran of WW II. Graveside services were held Tuesday, November 13 at Singleton Springs Cemetery near Senatobia, MS. Rev. Danny Dabbs officiated.
Mr. Bizzell was preceded in death by his wife, Gladys Wallace Bizzell. He is survived by one daughter, Kathy Leigh of Hernando, MS; one sister, Polly Nestle of Manila, Phillipines; three brothers, Ira Bizzell of Atlanta, GA, Lee Bizzell of Pace, MS and Frank Bizzell of Dallas, TX; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
