Mrs. Ellen Marie Subyak of Box 127, R.D. 4, Mountaintop, died Sunday morning Aug 1, 1982 in Nanticoke State Hospital where she was a patient for two weeks. Born in Rice Township, Dec. 14, 1927, she was the daughter of John B. Fraley of Tunkhannock and the late Nettie Frace Fraley. She was a lifelong resident of the Mountaintop area. She was a member of St. Martin's in the Field Episcopal Church, Nuangola, and its Ladies Auxiliary. Surviving in addition to her father are her husband, Stephen E.; sister, Mrs. Ada Miller of Wapwallopen; brothers, John of Stockton, Calif.; Arthur L. of Muhlenburg; Robert of Rockaway, N.J.; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday Aug 4 from St. Martin's in the Field Episcopal Church, Interstate 81 and Church Road, Nuangola. The Rev. Forrest Vaughan will officiate. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Dorrance Township. No children from this marriage.
