Dennis A. Frank
June 06, 1951 - August 13, 2021

Dennis August Frank, 70, of Green Bay, passed away on Friday, August 13, 2021. His recent battles with several health conditions showed his courage in the face of adversity. He was born on June 6, 1951, and grew up in Francis Creek, WI. His parents were William and Jeannette (Murphy) Frank.

Dennis graduated from Mishicot High School and went on to serve his country in the U.S. Army as a Signal Support Systems Specialist. After his time in the service, he worked as a welder and fabricator for many companies over the years.

In 1973, Dennis met his future wife, Chris Carpenter on a blind date that marvelously turned into 46 amazing years together! They went on to marry in 1975 and together they raised four wonderful daughters. Dennis doted on the accomplishments of his daughters and was happiest when he was surrounded by his family. He often spent his time serving in whatever capacity was necessary for the task, including soccer coach, girl scout dad, PTO spring fling dad, and even as a "Grandpa Nanny" to a few of his beloved grandchildren. Dennis enjoyed being outdoors and was an avid hunter, fisher and a "Jack of All Trades". He loved to try his hand fixing anything that was broken and sharing his talents and interests with his family.

Overall, the most important aspect of his life was his family. He was so very proud of his daughters and grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Chris; their daughters, Erin (Andrew) Savage, Nicki (Paul Taiccher) Frank, Amy (Matthew) Farabaugh, Molly (Kevin) Brotski; grandchildren, Evelyn, Ava, Rachel, Isaac, Emma, Madison, Danielle, Autumn, Tyler, and Nolan; his sister, Bonnie (Kurt) Risch; his sisters-in-law, Linda (Dave) Hutzler, and Patti (Ted) Bowers; close friend and fishing buddy, Demetri, and many nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Gordon and Dorothy Carpenter; a grandmother, Dorothy Murphy; and a sister-in-law, Barbara Carpenter.

Visitation will take place at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave., from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday, August 19; followed by the Funeral Service at 6 p.m., concluding with Military Honors. To send online condolences, please go to www.BlaneyFuneralHome.com. The family is requesting that all in attendance please wear a mask.
