Services for Vivian Marie Zule, 74, Leavenworth, will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Belden-Sexton-Sumpter Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Bud Jones officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Memory Gardens.
Mrs. Zule died Sunday, Dec. 6, 1992, at Providence-St. Margaret Hospital in Kansas City, Kan.
She was born June 3, 1918, in McLouth, the daughter of George R. and Grace Quesenbury Tarr.
Mrs. Zule worked for many years at the Stokely-Van Camp plant in Lawrence before retiring in 1978. She was a member of the High Prairie Tabernacle Church and the High Prairie Ladies Bible Study Group. She also was a member of the Food Workers Union.
She married Eugene W. Zule on Oct. 26, 1936, in Leavenworth. He survives of the home.
Other survivors include three sons, Ronald and Gary, both of Leavenworth, and Charles, Mayetta; one daughter, Linda G. Patterson, Perry; one brother, Leonard Tarr, Lawrence; six sisters, Ruey Champion, Grace Wiley and Iva Torneden, all of Lawrence, Sylvia Tarr and Norma Tarr, both of Leavenworth, and Zelma Sanders, McLouth; 15 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
