COLBERT -- Services for Bobby Eugene "Bob" Adams, 50, were scheduled for 10 a.m. today at the Colbert school auditorium with the Rev. Eugene Ledford officiating. Interment was at Condon Grove Cemetery.

Adams died Feb. 25, 1998. He was born Oct. 2, 1947, at Milburn.

A graduate of Milburn High School, Murray State College and Southeastern Oklahoma State University, he served with the Navy in the Vietnam war and in the National Guard. He was the auto mechanics teacher at Colbert High School and a volunteer with the Milburn Fire Department and the search and rescue team. Adams was a member of VFW and and 22-year member of Fillmore Nazarene Church. He and the former Alice Joyce Jackman were married Jan. 15, 1968, at Denison, Texas.

Survivors include his wife, of the home; a son, Eric, Fillmore; two daughters, Leeann Majors, Tishomingo, and Sheila Riddle, Milburn; his father, Dan Adams, Stonewall; four brothers, Danny, Milburn, Donnie, Venice, La., Thomas and Jerry, Fillmore; and eight grandchildren.
