Margaret M. Power, 85, of Worcester, passed away Tuesday, February 8, 2011 in the Jewish Healthcare Center.
She leaves a sister, Ada Gagnon of Leicester and several nieces and nephews. Two brothers: Thomas Power and Bernard Power and two sisters: Florence Power and Helen Booth predeceased her. She was born in Worcester, daughter of Thomas F. and Gertrude M. (Loughnane) Power and attended Commerce High School.
Margaret was a clerk at Norton Company for many years, prior to that she worked for the Barnard, Putnam and Sumner Company. She was a longtime member of St. Christopher's Church.
The Funeral will be held Thursday, February 10 from FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 1 W. Boylston St., West Boylston with a Mass at 11 AM in St. Christopher's Church, 950 West Boylston St. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery. A visiting hour will be held Thursday, February 10 from 9:30 to 10:30 AM at the funeral home. Flowers may be sent or memorial donations may be made to the Corner Shop at the First Congregational Church of Holden, 1180 Main St., Holden, 01520.
