Anna Lee Akers Shrader, 80, of Bluefield, WV, passed away at her home Sunday, January 9, 2022. Born August 25, 1941 in Princeton, WV, she was the daughter of the late Albert James and Lucille Katherine Tabor Akers. Anna was a member of the Ceres Baptist Church, a veteran of the United States Army, and a devoted housewife. In addition to her parents, Anna was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Russell Shrader and her son, Billy Shrader.



Those left to cherish Anna's memory are her sons, Timothy Shrader and wife, Sandra of Princeton, WV, and Jodi Witham and wife, Nadine, of Dallas, GA; daughter, Lee Anne Shultz of Bluefield, WV; brother, Jimmy Akers of Princeton, WV; 6 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.



Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 PM Thursday, January 13, 2022 at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Lester officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens where family and friends will serve as pallbearers and the Mercer County Veteran's Honor Guard will conduct military rites. The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM until the time of service. Cravens-Shires Funeral Home is serving the Shrader family.
