Allen attended Laverne School and graduated in 1971. After high school, he joined the U.S. Army and was sent to Fort Campbell, Kentucky then Germany where he caught up with his brother Larry and wife Linda and enjoyed their time together. Upon his return, he was stationed at Fort Sill, Oklahoma.
After the Army, he returned to Laverne and worked for the City as a lineman with Rodger Pemberton. Then he went to work for Western State Hospital in Fire and Safety where he retired as Chief of Fire and Safety. He was also Fire Chief of Fort Supply and retired from there After retirement he worked with his brother at Foam Unit, Inc.
He loved motorcycles, cars, music, family and friends.
He joined the Satan Brothers Motor Cycle Club where he had many fun and fond memories of the Brothers and their many runs. He enjoyed cookouts, family get togethers and helping anyone in need.
He was proceeded in death by his father William Goodwin, mother Bertha Violet Broadstreet, brothers Larry Goodwin and James (Turtle) Goodwin.
