Karen Sue Guistino (nee White), 79, of Brunswick Ohio, passed away early Thursday morning, January 6, 2022, with her daughter by her side. Karen is survived by her four cherished children who made up the entirety of her world, Ian (Susan), Angel (Ed) Perron, Frank (Alicia) and Mick (Nicki). Beloved Grammy to Tatiana (Jon), Forrest, Jon, Sarah (Victor), Dominic, Bethany, Ava, Alijah, Francesco, and Gaia; the newest additions that have brought her immense joy, her great-grandchildren Gabriel and Cecilia; loving sister of Deanna White-Hebert (Jim), Mickey (Lek) Predojev; and dear sister-in-law to MaryAnn Ulrich (Tom) and Shirley White. Karen was preceded in death by her beloved mother Mabel Olive Jarrell and brother Larry White. Karen genuinely enjoyed being an aunt, cousin, friend, and neighbor to many.
Karen accepted Jesus as her Savior when she was in her twenties and had a close personal relationship with Him for the rest of her life. She enjoyed sharing the Gospel with everyone she met. Karen lived out her calling by working as a care giver for the sick and elderly.
Many things brought her happiness, such as her passion for art, teaching Sunday school for over twenty years, and surrounding herself with family photos and her treasured keepsakes. However, nothing brought her more joy than being a mother and raising her four children.
Family and friends may call on Friday, January 14, 2022, from 4pm until 8pm at the Sunset Chapel, 6245 Columbia Road, North Olmsted, Ohio 44070. A service to honor Karen will take place on Saturday, January 15, 2022, at 10am at the Sunset Chapel with Rev. Chuck Behrens officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
