Marion H. Jochems
JULY 25, 1932 – JANUARY 4, 2022

Marion H. Jochems (Baker), age 89, formerly of Denver, CO passed away peacefully at her home in Balfour Nursing Care of Longmont on Tuesday, January 4, 2022.

She was known to be a quiet, shy person; and yet her life touched so many. Her passion was sharing her vast knowledge with others. Marion gave generously to her community working as a rape crisis counselor, a probation officer and a volunteer for a suicide hotline. She considered her greatest accomplishment to be helping her son negotiate the waters of childhood cancer and come out on the other side. She wanted you to know she loved classic cars and Astrology.

Marion was preceded in death by her husband Jim Jochems. She is survived by her children, Robin Martinez (Carlos), Erin Baker Ulrich (David), and Scott Baker; grandchildren, Chelsea Kochevar (Eric Hernandez), Erika McHenry (Iain), Chris Martinez (Morgan); and great-grandchildren, Grace Baker and Gavin McHenry.

Cremation is entrusted to Howe Mortuary & Crematory of Longmont. Per her request, no services are scheduled to take place.
