Ada Warfield Standiford Tanner, age 93, passed away on May 9, 2014. Spending most of her life in Harford County, she was the daughter of the late Roy Day and Naomi Mae Hood Warfield.

Mrs. Tanner is survived by two children, Barbara A. Liberatore of Havre de Grace and Harry Webster Standiford Jr. of Street; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren also survive; and one great-great-grandson. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Harry Webster Standiford Sr., in 1982.

In 1992, Mrs. Tanner married Lt. Col. Glenn A. Tanner (Ret.), who was deceased in 1999.

She is also survived by five stepchildren, James Tanner of Lexington, SC, Lawrence Tanner of Goodyear, AZ, Sheila Rockholt of Lake Monticello, VA, Sarah Walsh of Baltimore and Sharon Adkins of Holland, MI. A number of step grandchildren and step great-grandchildren also survive.

Mrs. Tanner was also preceded in death by three brothers, Ernest W. Warfield, Carroll W. Warfield and Roy Day Warfield Jr.

She was employed at Preston's Hallmark Card and Gift Shop in Bel Air for 26 years retiring in 1992.
