Calvin R. Leish, 96, of Ewing, NJ and Murrells Inlet, South Carolina died peacefully on Saturday January 8, 2022 at Capital Health Medical Center Hopewell.

He was born Oct 19, 1925 in Barnsboro, (North Cambria), PA and was a long time resident of Ewing Township. Calvin graduated from Spangler High School, attended Dartmouth College, Cornell University, Columbia University and the Naval Justice School. He served in the United States Navy for 22 years and was honorably discharged as a Lt. Commander in 1965. Thereafter he was employed by Princeton University as a purchasing agent until his retirement.

Calvin was an avid golfer for over 50 years. He was a member of the Yardley Country Club for 35 years and also enjoyed playing at Mountain View Golf Course and many courses in South Carolina.

Calvin was the son of the late Edward and Ella Reffner Leish. He was predeceased by his son Frederick and 10 brothers and sisters. Surviving are his loving wife of 54 years, Marguerite Brennen Leish, his daughter Sharon Beckler and her husband Carl, son Frank Corrado and his wife Barbara; sister-in-law Kathleen Smith; his grandchildren Jeanenne Zukin, Nicole Snow and Corrine Banks, 6 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Family and close friends are invited to call from 10:00 am to 11:00 am Wednesday Jan 19th at St Ann's Chapel at the church. Rt. 206 Lawrenceville, NJ. A Christian mass will immediately follow at 11:00 am. Interment with military honors (Navy) will be held at St Mary's Cemetery, Hamilton, NJ
