Mrs. Haynes went to be with Jesus on Thursday, January 13, 2022, surrounded by family. She is proceeded in death by her parents Cecil V and Velma Medders; siblings Charles Medders, Liston Medders, Pauline Harper, and Earline Brown.
Left to cherish her memories is her husband of 45 years, Michael "Mike" Haynes; daughter Amy Thompson (Jamie); son Wesley Haynes; brother Cecil Medders (Charlotte); several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.; grandchildren, Brent Parks, Lilliana Parks, Katy Chandler (TJ), Trey Thompson; great granddaughter Kambree Chandler.
Mrs. Haynes is a retired RN. She loved helping others and caring for others. She spent most of her career as Director of Nurses at NHC then continued her career as a nursing instructor at Gadsden State. She was a member of Hill Crest Baptist Church where she served in many ministries there. Mrs. Haynes loved to cook and enjoyed cooking Sunday lunches for her family. She also loved cooking and baking for friends. She was gifted with talents for crafting and sewing. Mrs. Haynes has finished her battle with Liver Disease and Parkinson's Disease. She is now made whole and celebrating with Jesus. A special thank you to Encompass Hospice Care Staff and Nurse Kristin Rivers.
Pallbearers will be Jerod Haynes, Matthew Haynes, Dustin Haynes, David "Tree" Osborne, Baker Reynolds, and Jamie Thompson
