Damaged on mission to strike Leipzig,
the bomber having fallen back out of
formation where it was attacked by
several enemy aircraft and shot down.

Five crew members were Killed In Action
and four parachuted and were taken as
POWs. Crashed at Lichtenstein, Germany.
