Son of Alexander and Florence (Currie) Macauley.

Siblings were Daniel Martin and John Alexander Macauley. He also had two siblings Mary born Aug 7, 1877 and who died from lung congestion in 1881 and Guy who died from pneumonia in 1878 age 1 yr 17 days. (Ancestry has another child, David M., however this was a misread in the 1880 census where Daniel appeared age 5.)

Forrest married Evelyn B. Urguhart at age 18 on April 12, 1902 in Gloucester. It was a first marriage for both and Forrest S. was then age 18 and Evelyn age 17. His occupation was that of a baker, son of Alexander Macauley and Florence Couria (Courie). She was the daughter of John G. and Kate (Cavanaugh) Urguhart.

In the 1910 census in Gloucester Forrest was 26, a baker, married 8 yrs and wife (enumerated as Emaline) was 25 and had given birth to one child Helen then age 6.
Helen Shirley Macauley was born Jan 15, 1904 in Gloucester. By the 1920 census son Kenneth was age 3 and 7 mos residing with is widowed mother Evelyn in Lynn along with sister Helen then age 15. Evelyn was then managing the bakery.

Middle name Smith on draft registration. He was a baker with his own business in 1918 when he registered and his wife was Evelyn Burtin Macauley of 181 Chestnut Street in Lynn Massachusetts.

Died age 35, 11 mos and 16 days from acute intestinal indigestion, resident of 181 Chestnut Street in Lynn. Occupation at time of death was that of a baker. He was the son of Alexander Macauley and Florence Currie born in Scotland. (Parents born PEI in other records; family immigrated to PEI, Canada and came to Gloucester where Forrest was born.)
