Deonna Patrice Clark Kemp was born on July 17, 1966, to the union of the late Johnny Clark, Sr., and Gloria Warner Clark in Lafayette, Louisiana. She was the third of ten children. Deonna accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized by the late Reverend James Otis at Mount Zion Baptist Church in Franklin, Louisiana. Later in life, she became a member of One Faith Fellowship Christian Center under the leadership of Pastor Lee Condolle and Lady Myra Condolle. She was a faithful member until her health failed. Deonna loved the Lord.

Deonna was educated in the Saint Mary School System. She graduated from Franklin Senior High School, class of 1985. She worked for Amelia Belle Casino in Amelia, Louisiana, until her health failed. Deonna was a quiet and loving mother, grandmother, sister, wife, niece, and friend. She was soft spoken and had a smile that was so beautiful. Anyone who came in contact with her fell in love with her.

On Saturday, January 15, 2022, God sent his angels to deliver Sister Deonna Patrice Clark Kemp to rest in his arms in Paradise at Ochsner of Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
