Iva Brock was born to John T Brock and Nina Bell Christie on 24 Dec 1902 or perhaps a bit later as the 1910 Census says she is 5 years-old.
The family began in Cass County, Missouri and moved on to Montgomery County, Kansas.
Around 1907, John T Brock was sent to the Kansas State Penitentiary for larceny.
He was paroled after 18 months.
With some parole difficulties, the family moved to Tulsa.
Iva's mother, Nina, deserted the family in 1911.
Iva's father died in early 1912 from injuries that he received in a house fire.
Then, Iva may have lived with her aunt, Alice Mae Brock Morgan, in Pawnee County, OK.
On 1 Jan 1920 she was married to Ren Armstrong at the Christian Church Parsonage in Cleveland, Pawnee, OK. The wedding performed by the Rev. A. C. Hornbaker.
Iva and Ren had 3 children:
Herman Oren Armstrong
Eva Dee Armstrong
James Lawrence Armstrong
Ren Armstrong died in a refinery explosion in 1931.
On 25 Feb 1933, Iva married Charles Luther Milligan, Sr. in Creek County, OK.
Iva and Charles had a son:
Lee Roy Milligan (1935 Tulsa - 1994 California)
In 1935, Iva had to have her mother committed to an asylum.
Chalrles Milligan died in 1953.
In Feb 1964, Iva married John R Jones in Okmulgee County, OK.
Iva died in Okmulgee on 27 Feb 1981.
John died in Okmulgee in 1983.
