Mrs. Alma Burgess- Funeral services are to be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Brock Funeral Home for Mrs. Alma Burgess, 63, of 828 Front St. who died at 1:40 a.m. Friday at a hospital in Athens. She was born in Greenup County, Ky., March 23, 1899, a daughter of Dan and Emma Withrow Abrams. Surviving are a brother, Daniel Abrams, 417 Waller St., two sisters, Mrs. Garet Steele of Dayton and Mrs. Julia Lofton of Columbus, and an aunt, Mrs. Elfia Mae Justice, 2932 Walnut St. She was proceeded in death by her parents, her husband, Frank Burgess, two brothers and four sisters. Rev. W.D. Brock is to officiate at the services with burial in the Abrams Cemetery in Greenup County. Friends may call at the funeral home.
