Born September 24, 1933 in Peoria, a son to Louis and Helen (Pedrick) Aldrich. Richard graduated from Woodruff High School with the Class of 1951 and went on to honorably served in the United States Marines during the Korean War. On April 12, 1953 he married Alma Jennings and together they cherished 59 years until her passing on March 5, 2012. Richard worked as a lineman Forman for LE Myers until his retirement. He was a past member of the First Christian Church, VFW Post 4835 Creve Couer, IL and Temple Lodge #46 A.F & A.M.
Survivors include three children: Donald Aldrich of Georgia, Diana Wilson of Hanna City and Denise Schalk of Peoria.
Richard was preceded in death by his parents, wife Alma, and one brother.
A private service will be held at Resurrection Mausoleum with entombment following.
