Billy "Bill" Jerome Lange, 86, of Fosston, Minnesota, formally of Bagley, Minnesota, died on Sunday, January 23, 2022 at Essentia Hospital in Fosston, Minnesota Memorial services will be held on Wednesday, January 26, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Faith Lutheran Church in Bagley, Minnesota with Reverend Mark Olson officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be held in the Spring at the Bagley City Cemetery. The Cease Family Funeral Home of Bagley assisted the family with arrangements. Bill was born on May 6, 1935 in Lengby, MN the son of Raymond and Annetta (Fredrickson) Lange. Bill was baptized in the Lutheran Faith and was raised and attended school in Lengby, MN. He later went to work with his father as a marble setter. They worked all over the United States in several places. On August 10, 1957, Bill married Beatrice "Bea" (Vorderbruggen) this summer would have been their 65th wedding anniversary. Together they raised three children; Laura, Billy, and Bobbi. In the early 1960's, he started working in the woods in the lumber industry. He then worked at Headwaters Lumber & Larson Lumber as a sawyer until his retirement in the 1990's. Bill was a member of the Faith Lutheran Church. Family was very important to Bill and he liked to be at home. He enjoyed watching golf and was a Bison fan. You could always find Bill outdoors, he loved mowing the lawn, gardening and tending to his flower and veggie beds. Deer hunting season was the highlight of his year. He has been hunting with the same hunting buddies since he was a young adult. Bill is survived by his wife Bea Lange of Fosston, MN Daughter-Laura (Dan) Wilde of Fosston, MN Son-Billy Lange of Wilton, MN Daughter-Bobbi (Virgil Wilde) Olson of Fosston, MN Brother-Tom (Joan) Lange of San Clemente, CA Sister-Corrine (Howard) Smith of Brooklyn Park, MN 8 Grandchildren and 15 Great-Grandchildren He was preceded in death by his parents, brother - Jack, and sister – Joanne, and an infant grandson – Timothy Wilde.
