Settled a church in Keene, N. H. for about ten years. Installed pastor of the First church in Plymouth in 1749 , where he continued his labors of love, sill 1776 when he was dismissed by mutual consent. After preaching about eighteen months in Plympton Second Parish, now Carver, he retired to Rowley where he died, 1787.
According to Sandra Lennox (F.A.G. # 47383634): There is no documentation that Rev. Jacob Bacon is buried at Burial Hill Cemetery. Ms. Lennox belongs to Friends of Burial Hill and know all of the documented Burials on the hill.
My source for this burial site is from the Epitaphs from Burial Hill, in the Plymouth, Massachusetts, 1678-1891 for Reverend Jacob Bacon.
