Roger A. Kistemaker, 82, of Fairview Park, Ohio passed away on January 27, 2022. He was born on May 14, 1939 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Andrew and Ann (nee Bitterman) Kistemaker. He loved his family deeply and found great joy and contentment in creating the best life for those he cherished. Roger will be deeply missed by his loving wife Phyllis L. Kistemaker of 60 years; sons Robert A. Kistemaker and Ronald G. (Tina) Kistemaker; cherished grandchildren Meghan and Ryan; dear brother of Richard (Linda) Kistemaker; and uncle to Karin and Paul (Tracy) Kistemaker. Roger served his country in the United States Army and was a 50-year Mason (Lodge #651). He was a proud member of IBEW #38 for over 60 years and a UAW member with Local #1005 for 23 years. His support for these unions never wavered. In his spare time, Roger enjoyed swimming at the YMCA and spending occasional evenings at Blossom listening to the Cleveland Orchestra. Family and friends may call on Monday, January 31, 2022 from 3:00 PM-7:00 PM at the Sunset Chapel, 6245 Columbia Road North Olmsted, Ohio 6245. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, February 1, 2022 at 3:00 PM at the chapel. Roger will be privately laid to rest in Sunset Memorial Park in North Olmsted.
