Rosalie M. Baker, 95 of Pekin passed away at 2:45 pm, Saturday, June 3, 2023 at Pekin Manor. She was born in Peoria County to Carl and Hulda (Slone) Fischer on March 7, 1928.

She married Harold G. Baker on August 6, 1950 at St Peter's Lutheran Church in Glassford. He preceded her in death on October 25, 2007.

She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Green Valley and St. Peter's Lutheran in Glasford where she was baptized on March 30, 1928 and Confirmed on July 19, 1942. She worked at R.G. Letourneau, Inc in the cafeteria, and later at J. C. Penny in the Pekin Mall from 1972 to 2002. She enjoyed sewing and crafting. She was a member of the Epiphany Society, Tazewell County Home Extension, volunteered at Ewes Treasures and was a former Sunday School Teacher and Choir member. Rosalie lived a long, blessed life, and will be greatly missed by those fortunate enough to know and love her.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Linda Baker; two sisters, Helen Diver and Dorothy Riekena; and one brother, Harland Fischer. Rosalie was survived by; one daughter, Diane (Len) LaLone; and two sisters, Violet Haage and Enda Brown.

Burial will be in Sand Prairie Cemetery, Green Valley, IL .
