A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, January 29, 2022 at 4:30 pm at Neely's Creek ARP Church with Reverend Gene Craven and Don Gillespie officiating. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 3:30-4:30 in the church parlor.
Mrs. Feindel was a native of Rock Hill, SC and was the daughter of the late William Edgar Walker, Jr. and Janie Elizabeth Smith Walker. She grew up and graduated high school in Cedartown, GA. She was employed with Rock Hill Printing & Finishing Company, M. Lowenstein and Springs Industries, where she retired as an Administrative Assistant after 47 years in the textile industry. She was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church where she was involved in Sunday school, and served as Treasurer for Women's Ministries. She also served as Treasurer of the Fellowship Presbyterian Women in the Church (WIC). She was active in the York County Republican Party and served as Secretary. She also served as a Poll Manager of the University District. She was proud to be the first female Grand Jury Forman in the State of SC. She enjoyed sewing, baking, crafts and was an avid reader. She was the widow of George Paul Feindel, Jr., to whom she was married to for 42 years.
Mrs. Feindel is survived by her son, George Paul Feindel, III (Leslie) of Rock Hill; her granddaughter, Ella Claire Feindel (Max Maree) of Rock Hill; her brother, James Elliot Walker (Judi) of Port St. Lucie, Florida. She is also survived by two special nephews, Johnny and Bobby Walker; Dan Baker, who was like a son, and other nephews and nieces. She is preceded in death by her siblings, William Edgar Walker III; Harold Smith Walker and Joanne Walker Moore.
