He was a major idol as the lead in the popular band "Tages" in the 1960s and with them and in a subsequent solo career had over a dozen big hits, released five LP albums and more than 20 singles . He also had acting assignments in eight movies and worked as a music teacher. He managed and booked other famous performers, hosted restaurants and owned a hotel in Mallorca. From the mid-1990s till 2008 he hosted radio station "Vinyl 107.7" all day every day. His favorite hobby in later years was fishing from one of the bridges in front of Stockholm Palace.
