Patricia A. Gilmore, 61, formerly of Exeter, passed away Saturday, Jan. 15, 2022, at her home.

She was born in Kingston, daughter of the late Hugh T. Gilmore and the late Carol Bartholomew.

Patricia was a 1978 graduate of Wyoming Area High School and attended Empire Beauty School.

Patricia was preceded in death by her daughter, Valerie A. Zalepa.

Surviving are her fiancé, George Krifka, Exeter; daughter, Brittany Gallup and husband, Tylor, Swoyersville; son, Edward Zalepa III, West Pittston; sister, Kathy Rahl and husband, Alfred, Forty Fort; and brother, Thomas Gilmore and wife, Alice, West Pittston. She will be missed by her grandchildren, Sophia and Kinsleigh Zalepa; and Lennon Gallup. She took great pride in being a mother and grandmother.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday in Immaculate Conception Church of Corpus Christi Parish, 605 Luzerne Ave., West Pittston, with the Monsignor John Sempa as celebrant. Interment will be in Memorial Shrine Park, Carverton. Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at Metcalfe Shaver Kopcza Funeral Home, 504 Wyoming Ave., Wyoming, and from 9:30 a.m. to service time Saturday in Immaculate Conception Church.

The family requests anyone attending the viewing or Mass to please wear a mask.
