Francis N. "T-Ben" Carrier Jr., 92, a native and resident of Napoleonville, died Wednesday, Dec. 26, 2007.

Visitation was at St. Anne Catholic Church in Napoleonville. Mass was at the church, with burial in the church cemetery.

He is survived by one son, Francis N. "Nicky" Carrier III and wife, Loretta; one daughter, Marie C. "Teetsie" Simoneaux and husband, Kenneth; one sister, Shirley C. Gilbert; five grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Charlotte Talbot Carrier; and his parents, Francis N. "Nick" Carrier Sr. and Amelie B. Carrier.

He was a U.S. World War II veteran, half-owner of Bayouside Golf Course and was the retired owner of Assumption Motors Ford Dealership for 40 years.

He was Napoleonville Alderman on Town Council, a charter member of Napoleonville Fire Department, a member of the board of directors for Assumption Bank and Trust and a 3rd degree member of Council No. 1099 in Napoleonville and served as Grand Knight for two-year term.

Thibodaux Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
