The Rev. J. Paschall Davis, an Episcopal priest and a lawyer who was a leader in the Nashville, chapters of Planned Parenthood and the Euthanasia Educational Council and other social action organizations, died yesterday at his Nashville home after a stroke. He was 69 years old.

Born in Havana, Father Davis graduated from Harvard University and received his law degree from Harvard in 1933. He lived in New York City until he moved his law practice to Nashville in 1969.
