Lonnie Eugene Davison, son of Geneva (Hulse) Davison and Ralph "PaPi" Davison, was born on December 31, 1940 in Lincoln, Arkansas and passed from this life on Wednesday, January 26, 2022 in Fayetteville, Ark.

He was a strong man. He had survived a massive heart attack, triple bypass, brain bleed, stroke and cancer. Yet, he was still a humble man. He was a man of few words, who loved spending time with his wife. They loved each other dearly and had been married since February 4, 1965. They were blessed with almost 57 years of marriage.

Lonnie was a hard worker. He was drafted into the Army in January of 1964 and served four years. He was also a construction worked for 20 years and worked at Jet Stream for 30 years until retirement.

He took pride in his mowing. He liked to go to Silcox and buy knives. He liked listening to old country music while driving down backroads going way under the speed limit. He loved coaching his son in baseball. He had a blast spending countless hours at the casino with his wife, son and daughter-in-law. He liked to get pedicures. He was a Chicago Cubs Baseball fan and loved the Arkansas Razorbacks.

Lonnie was preceded in death by his wife, Eileen (McCown) Davison; parents: Ralph and Geneva Davison, brother Russell Davison, and great grandkids: Hunter Burrows and Kaisley Frazier.

He is survived by his sister Wilma Dennis of Carlsbad, Texas and her children Vicki, Denise and families; his children: Ronnie Davison (Laura) of Westville, Oklahoma and grandchildren: Felicia, Aaron, Lacey, Nikolas and 10 great grandkids; Rhonda Hale (Scott) of Westville, and grandchildren: Kassi, Brandon, Tiffany, Jonathan, Kiley, Cash, Xyler, Kerryonne, Easton, Hudson, and 10 great grandkids; Renee Bird (Terry) of Stilwell, and grandchildren: Lonnie, Gary, Jeanene and five great grandkids; Rusty Williams and wife Samantha of Westville, and grandchild Aiden. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Monday, January 31, 2022 at Roberts & Hart Funeral Home, Westville, with Bro. Clarke officiating. Interment followed at Westville City Cemetery, Westville.
